We are known among our suppliers and peers as the innovators of the industry. We are dedicated to being on the cutting edge with polyurea.
There are definite reasons Visuron stands apart from the typical polyurea system supplier. Since we were the original custom formulator of polyurea, we have had longer than any other system supplier to advance this technology.
Some of the reasons for our leadership:
- We were the original custom polyurea formulator (1988)
- We commercialized the first color-fast aliphatic systems (1995)
- We introduced airless sprayable, rollable, one-component (2K) systems (1996)
- We routinely production apply coatings under .010 inch thick on steel
- We manufacture our own custom prepolymers in jacketed reactors
- We private brand systems for several prominent suppliers
- We actively develop advanced systems using our wet chemistry lab
- System properties are evaluated in our complete physical testing lab
- Our Gusmer H20/35 PRO plural and Wagner 5000 psi airless equipped spray lab produces coatings for evaluation and demonstrations
- Our 44,000 sq. ft. plant for manufacturing, marketing and development activities
As you can see, we are unique in the industry. Polyurea and polyurea derivative chemistry and associated technology is our single focus.

The drive behind the unique innovations that make Visuron so notable is Thomas Davis, the owner of the company. Of the more than four decades that he has spent accepting challenges and solving problems, eighteen of those have involved formulating fast-set coating/lining systems with polyureas, hybrids, polyurethane, phenolic, vinyl ester and silicone. Mr. Davis holds eighteen U.S. and foreign patents.
